Live Stream of Americana Music Honors & Awards

Washington, D.C. – To Nashville! NPR Music and Folk Alley return to the “Music City” to webcast the 13th annual Americana Music Association’s Honors & Awards show on Wednesday, Sept. 17. Americana’s leading man, Jim Lauderdale, will once again host the night of honors and live music at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium. The show will feature more than 20 performances, including all four of the nominees for the Americana Music Association’s 2014 Artist of the Year - Jason Isbell, Robert Ellis, Rodney Crowell and Rosanne Cash – as well as Sarah Jarosz, Emmylou Harris, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Jackson Browne, JD Souther, Sturgill Simpson, The Milk Carton Kids, Taj Mahal, Valerie June and many more. Follow @nprmusic, @folkalley and @americanafest during the show for updates as winners are named and performers – and surprise guests – take the stage.
